This is a PHP-based tool for probing statistics about SPARQL endpoints. These include: number of triples stored, number of triples in named graphs, number of unique classes or properties, and class or property frequency. The tool is in experimental stage and subject to change, so please use it with caution.

One thing that is immediately obvious from the triple pattern of SPARQL queries is that harvesting information from the Semantic Web is more complex than firing query terms at a database. SPARQL queries are addresses to specific locations in the RDF graph structure, and furthermore, the elements of a SPARQL query are themselves addresses.

FEATR: SPARQL Feature Detection

This video discusses FEATR, a tool which was developed as a practical solution for Web developers to detect the features of a SPARQL endpoint and take advantage of: 1) Accessibility to humans; 2) Accessibility to machines; 3) Community experience. Discoverability of SPARQL Endpoints for Linked Open Data

In "Design Issues", Tim Berners-Lee stated that "to make the data be effectively linked, someone who only has the URI of something must be able to find their way to the SPARQL endpoint." Today, this is still not possible in a canonical way. This video presents different strategies for discovering SPARQL endpoints for a given URI, as well as implementing a web service to provide automatic resolution of URIs to SPARQL endpoints.
