This presentation features a use case from Oxford University Press, in which data was migrated from XML content to Linked Data. It covers the business drivers which were identified and some of the issues that arose while modelling RDF from an XML base. Also discussed are the advantages and limitations of Schema.org and RDFa markup relative to richer XML metadata. Finally, the speaker briefly describes an experimental system architecture combining stores for both XML documents and RDF triples.
